36. To General Secretary from Glauert re. Karl Jordan's proposal: an expedition to "back areas" not feasible now because of cost involved and the limited range of marsupials. However, a trip by Lipfert to include area from the Williams to the Blackwood would involve limited expenses, best time to go in October when animals have winter coats, recommends accepting Jordan's offer, [Dec. 1934], 2 p.
37. To Jordan from Glauert thanking him for letter offering help with expenses to collect specimens alive and obtain their fleas, hopes to arrange trip to south-west and proposal will be submitted to the Trustees; no bird fleas have been found; sending a few fleas from Dromicia concinna, asks for
any recent reprints on Australian fleas, 15 Jan. 1935, 1 p.

42. To Glauert from Jordan, sending 10 pound contribution to trip, 8 May, 1935, 1 p.
43. To Burkitt from Glauert about Larnach's arrival in September, Lipfert has had a seizure and can't go on field work, perhaps Larnach can carry out his duties. Thanks him for photograph of Myrmecobius skull, 10 Aug. 1935, 1 p.

46. To Jordan from Glauert, regretting that proposed trip postponed as the taxidermist [Lipfert] too ill to go and the apprentice not yet sufficiently expert; has more mammal fleas and will send them later; saw paper on W.A. Siphonaptera in Novitates, looks forward to receiving a reprint and set of the specimens, 23 Oct, 1936, 1 p.
