REPORTED DISCOVERY OF ALLUVIAL GOLD ON THE MURCHISON.

GERALDTON, Sept 5.
News has been received at Geraldton to the effect that Messrs. Connelly
and Bernd have discovered alluvial gold north-east of Cruickshank's
station. I have been shown a fine nugget weighing 1 1/2 oz., which is set
to have come from the same locality.
