SIR, - I have been so often asked and questioned regarding the amalgam brought down by Mr. Simpson, that I am thoroughly disgusted about the matter. I have not taken any part in the management of the crushing, but I feel it my duty to advise the shareholders in my Company, as they took their shares principally on my representation, to hold onto them are not sell at foolish prices, as there is not the slightest doubt of the mine being one of the best now known in Australia, and it will prove to be so before long, whether any gold is got from this famous amalgam or not. It seems there is gross mismanagement somewhere. Yours etc.,
HUGH FRASER. 11th January, 1890.
