On Saturday last, by the courtesy of Mr R.M. Walker, manager of Yilgarn Gold Mining Company, we were allowed to inspect the result of crushing of 25 cwt of Yilgarn quartz that was sent to Melbourne for assay, which produced 7 ounces of pure gold of a
