Mr. D. W. R. Stewart of the Forests Department, Manjimup WA, writes to Glauert seeking information about the zoological names of Australian marsupials, particularly the Quokka.
Mr Stewart is seeking the zoological name of the Quokka. He notes it is abundant in the Manjimup area and causes considerable damage to young pine plantations.
He is also looking for a classification of all Australian marsupials linking both their common and zoological names.
