Glauert replies to Miss Janet Adams' (Head teacher, Government School, Chorkerup, WA) correspondence of 9 March 1936.
Glauert says a killing bottle has been sent to her.
His reponse also includes "... general directions for collecting natural history specimens of all kinds."
He is especially interested in the Siver Grey Mouse as they are becoming rare, even in areas where they were once common.
He provides instructions on what to feed the Honey Mouse and the Mundarda.
If the school children note down their experiences, Glauert will include them in an article for the Rural Magazine.
He notes that he can probably send a few of the animals set up for exhibition but for the present it is best if each of their specimens is bottels in methylated spirits.
