Stan Archer, a student at Chorkerup Government School, writes to thank Glauert for the insect book he has sent them and for his help in setting up their natural history museum.
He notes that they collected a cricket mole.
He also mentions a very large spider "... which is of autumn colouring and very prettily marked."
