Abstract:
MR. TOM ROBERTS’S PICTURE.

To the Editor.

Sir,—I have read with pleasure the account in to-day’s issue of your
widely read paper of the arrangements made for exhibiting the valuable
picture which illustrates the opening of the first Federal Parliament, and

I feel they will be appreciated by thousands, but I would like to suggest
that arrangements should be made to exhibit the picture also on Saturday
evenings. No doubt there are many like myself, who will find it
inconvenient—nay, impossible—to be in Perth except on Saturday nights, and
who would feel keenly the disappointment of being unable to view this
valuable work of a great artist.

As the picture is only to be on view for a fortnight, I have no doubt that
the Saturday evening exhibit can be arranged.—Yours, etc.,
WOULD-BE-ARTIST.
