William Campbell had originally written to Glauert on 7 March 1916 enquiring about an object referred to in WA as both a 'Kangaroo Rat' and a 'Woggara.'
In return correspondence of 29 March 1916 Glauert promised Campbell he would forward a photograph of the museum's Specimen no. C458.
Having sent that photograph to the General Secretary, the Secretary then forwarded it to Campbell.
Having received the photograph Campbell is now thanking the General Secretary for his letter.
Campbell's previous correspondence had been c/o The Institute of Surveyors in Sydney (though the General Secretary wrote back c/o The Institution of Engineers in Sydney) but this reply was from the Survey Camp, Lake View, Griffith NSW.
