Parker is writing to Woodward to remind him of a promise Woodward had made to assess a fragment of worked bone Parker had originally hoped to be assessed by Glauert.
Parker was born in 1877 in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia. He was the son of Patrick Joseph PARKER and Ellen Mary MAHONY.
He was a contractor in Moora, Western Australia in 1906 and was married to Matilda Mary WARD in 1907.
He farmed Meelyah Farm in Gunyidi between 1911-1917, a property situated approximately seven and a half miles from the Gunyidi railway siding.
He was the Postal Vote Officer for those near his Meelyah property for the Legislative Council elections on 13 May 1910.
He and his wife owned the farm, which consisted of 2,451 acres of Conditional Purchase blocks and a 309 acre grazing lease. The property contained a four roomed wood and iron homestead and shed, and was watered by two wells and three dams.
He later resided in the Perth suburb of Glendalough and died 20 September 1965. He was buried in Karrakatta Cemetery, Perth WA (Roman Catholic, OC, 484C).
