Letter to M. Croucher, Yarding, Bruce Rock from Keeper of Biology. The snake is a Ramsay's Python (Aspidites ramsayi).A Specimen obtained in Meckering is the only other specimen recorded in W.A.I am returning your specimen which
is not much use without its head.If you obtain another specimen, please forward it as soon as possible without skinning it.The snake is not poisonous so there is no reason to smash its head. The head is also necessary for identification. The flower forwarded is a Melaleuca radula, the same genus as the common ti-tree.
