Letter from M. Croucher, Yarding, Bruce Rock. I am sending the skin of a snake mentioned in the Sunday Times. The snake was another two inches longer but the head was shot away. It is called a Black Snake in this district. About 2 years ago we killed
a lace lizard just short of 6 feet.Please identify enclosed shrub. Please return the snake skin if it is of no use to you.
