Donald Norman from the Anthropolgy Department of Melbourne University is completing a comprehensive work on Australian Aborigines with a special reference to their material culture, including weapons and implements. He requests the loan of a kodj axe, specimen E.39.
Norman also asks if Glauert has any other implements or utensils, such as tjuring or bull-roarers. He recalls seeing wooden vessls made from knots of trees which would be of special interest.
