Anthropologist, Mr McCarthy has received sketches by Mr Whitely of a stone implement from Miling. He will be pleased to have the opportunity of describing it.
He has also handed in for publication a manuscript on stone implements of Australia: a systematic study arranged on taxonomic lines together with illustrations which he hopes to be published by the end of the year.
He mentions that Mr Noone and has been ill for some time and will be leaving Colombo soon for Scotland.
