Abstract:
Commentary on the distribution of stone axes, where they would have been manufactured, from where they may have been transported, e.g. a collection of carved pearl shell ornaments found near Kalgoorlie but manufactured in the Kimberley.  Mention
is made of a less primitive stone axe found on a property in the southwest, shaped as to have a cutting edge, which may be taken as evidence that there could have been industry associated with their production, before white settlement.
