[15/04] Bannister travels to Albany, notable events include, passing his driver's test [16/04], his 27th birthday [20/04], meetings with the Manager of the Cheyne's Beach Whaling Station wo said, aerial whale spotting trips. A later series of diary entries detail a second inspection trip to Albany, leaving Perth on the [23/11] contains details on day to day details of the whaling season, ie: catch requirements, conditions for ending the catch etc diary ends on [10/12].
