Letter to A.G. Weller, Collie.I am unable to give you more information about the habits of the lampreys as they are practically unknown.I think the small eel like creatures in the drying pool are probably Gordian worm.The specimens would travel best wrapped
in water weed rather than in water.Lampreys do not appear to be numerous in W.A. We have only received about 6 specimens in the last 4 years. The largest I have seen was about 2.5 feet long.
