Abstract:
Letter from A.G. Weller, Collie. The place where I obtained the eel [sic] is now dry.I am looking for some young ones. Do they bury themselves in the mud? Please advise the best way to keep them alive until they reach you.In regard to the formation at the
throat, they live by suction. They would draw water and food into their mouth. The water would be expelled through the holes on their sides and the food would be caught in the saw like teeth. Please advise if my theory is correct and any other information you may have.
