The Aborigines Department is notifying Bernard Woodward of correspondence from Father Nicholas offering the museum a native canoe.
Father Nicholas had earlier written to Bernard Woodward offering various Aboriginal tools and implements on 16 April 1911.
Woodward replied on 23 May 1911 accepting the offer.
Woodward is replying to Brodribb and confirming the acceptance of 23 May 1911, explaining that due to the distances and time involved Father Nicholas has probably repeated the donation offer, this time to the Aborigines Department, before receipt of Woodward's acceptance.
