This log was microfilmed by the Australian Archives and made available in the Public Domain in October 1989. With the help of Mr E.S. Trigwell (Trig), formerly a wireless operator and navigator aboard Lockheed Hudson bombers during WWII operating out of the RAAF Richmond Airbase in Victoria, the jargon of signals operations was explained.
Matters relating to the wreck of the HSK Kormoran, an attack on the SS Siantar, SS Narbada and SS Tongariro and the bombing of the USS Sargo are mentioned.
