The past, present and future of West Australian Petroleum Pty. Ltd., a company involved in oil and gas exploration, production and development projects in Western Australia from 1952-1999. Activities ranged from the discovery, in
1953, of the first flowing oil in Australia at Rough Range in the Exmouth Gulf to the later development of Barrow Island, neighbouring north-west oil and gas fields and onshore gas reserves.
