We are informed by Mr W. E. Clifton, legal manager of the above Company,
that up to date twelve tons of tin have been sent from the Company's claim
to Bunbury for shipment, and another four tons are on the field, ready to
be despatched.

DISCOVERY OF A 39 OZ. NUGGET.

ROEBOURNE, Sept 9.
A man named Monson has arrived from Shaw Falls, where the big nugget was
found, bringing in a large nugget, weighing 39 oz. 8 dwts. He was only
there a week. He reports favourably on the field.
Diggers arriving from Ashburton give good reports.
Fourteen men camped at Nickol are doing well.
Mr Jacobsen, of the MallinaGoldMiningCompany, is expected here in a few
days. News of the company being floated in Sydney and of machinery coming
has been received here.
Between 180 and 200 ozs. of gold have been brought in from the different
fields within the last three days, to my own knowledge, but the names of
the persons owning the gold are held back.
Numbers are diggers are going to Shaw Falls daily.
The prospects of the Ashburton and Nullagine fields are looking up.
A discovery of gold at Flying Foam, about eighteen miles distant, is
reported, but nothing reliable has been heard yet. Several men have gone
out to the place....
