A life-sized portrait of Sir John has just been placed in the Museum. It
is acknowledged among the collection of fossils received during the month.
It is a happy thought placing the photo of Sir John in such a place. He
has been surrounded by fossils all his life, and now, having gone to the
east to have the cobwebs swept away, it is fitting that his photo should
be amid a mass of fossils of various kinds, as a memorial to the past.
