A 2% solution of blue stone (sulphate of copper), about 3 ounces to a gallon of water, is suggested over pressing wild flowers because the shape is retained. Letter acknowledges though that more space is required and that it is
considerably more expensive as specimens are kept in wide mouthed and stoppered bottles of clear glass.
