CrayVox combines an Atlas of thirty islands from the Houtman Abrolhos archipelago with thirty delicious recipes for Crayfish. During 2011, Helyer lived for several months in isolated Cray fishing communities, preparing a sound-sculpture
artwork for the Space(d) Biennale of Art (Fremantle Western Australia 2012). He combined his island research with trips to several locations in Asia, following the live Crayfish export trade, meeting importers, visiting restauranteurs, and fish auctions. -- publishers note.
