Ichnofossils III is concerned exclusively with traces preserved in the Coconino Sandstone (Lower Permian: Mid Leonardian) of Coconino County, Arizona. Expeditions conducted by the Potomac Museum Group of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota
between 1980 and 2006 resulted in collections of many sandstone plates that are now permanently housed in the Science Museum of Minnesota.
