"In June 2009, Justice Shane Marshall of the Federal Court of Australia heard several Ngadju people give evidence in support of their native title claim to their traditional country. The Goldfields Land and Sea Council provided
legal representation and logistical support to the Ngadju. These are some pictures from the hearing".

land is home for more than 2000 Aboriginal people, about half of the total indigenous population of the greater Goldfields-Esperance region. ... The stories told here will help build a stronger understanding amongst the area's traditional owners of the importance of history and culture to their survival as a race of people, while also building respect for elders and strengthening self esteem amongst the newer generations and their communities
