Abstract:
Gustav Kovacs Home Movie, Migrating to Western Australia, 1951. Pioneering Hungarian film maker Gustav Kovacs emigrated to Australia on board the ship 'Anna Salen', leaving Nordenham on 27th November 1950 and arriving in Fremantle on 1st January 1951.
He filmed the experience on board as well as arriving at Fremantle and scenes of the migrant camp at Northam (W.A). Included are scenes of Perth and Scarborough beach in 1951.
