Abstract:

In 2009, oral historian Mary Anne Jebb and radio producer, Bill Bunbury assisted Noongar people of the Central Eastern Wheatbelt to record and share their life stories. The resulting three programs provide a moving insight into lives and experiences

of Noongar people from this region. These are people recalling their life experiences, families and history. Episode 1 covers childhood, education and the stolen generation. Episode 2 covers working life, sport, making do and living conditions. Episode 3 covers beliefs, bush food and medicines.
