Abstract:
These three volumes are a detailed compilation of information about the steamship S.S. Georgette and its crew members when in service in Western Australia between 1872-1876. The Georgette is best known in Western Australia for Grace Bussell and Sam Isaacs' rescue of passengers when it foundered off Vasse in December 1876, and its role in attempting to prevent the escape of Fenian prisoners on the Catalpa in April 1876.
