Oldfield Thomas has been looking at the skin of an old female mouse you collected at La Grange Bay in January 1899 and he finds that although closely related to Mus tunneyi, it is distinguished by the shorter feet and smaller skull and teeth. He has named it woodwardi but it is another species to your credit.
