> P.351 To Tunney at Kojonup: specimens safely to hand, sending cheque. Oldfield Thomas has been looking at the skin of an old female mouse you collected at La Grange Bay in January 1899 and he finds that although closely related to Mus tunneyi, it is distinguished by the shorter feet and smaller skull and teeth. He has named it woodwardi but it is another species to your credit.

> P.384 To Tunney at Kojonup: Tunney got rats from La Grange Bay in Dec. 1898. The species of "dogs" in Canning's report turned out to be Phascogale blighi, specimens sent by Mr Bligh from 400 miles inland from Roebourne.
