Glauert regrets that, due to staff shortages it is impossible to make a detailed examination of the hundreds of boomerangs in the collection.
He refers Hamp to a paper compiled by Professor Davidson on the collection printed in the 'American Anthropolgist', Vol 38, No. 1 - page 76 and also to a more general article on Western Australian boomerangs by G. T. Walker which is printed in the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society of London. Series A Vol 190 page 23.
