The Western Australian Maritime Museum's important collection of objects, images and associated stories, provided inspiration for the 23 contemporary visual artists invited to participate in the exhibition. The central theme was that of the maritime
journey betwixt the ports of embarkation and destination, with artists drawing upon either the past, present or future. The artists were a mix of established and emerging artists from W.A., with artworks comprised of a variety of mediums.
