E edge of Gloucester Heights. mussels etc where stream first crosses road (abt 6km E from N.P.) 54677.6 & various insects & millipede [...] Stopped in Forestry Reserve on Gloucester Tops - had been burned uphill from road - collected live & dead paraphantids 3 spp - dead ? Camaenid sp. dead monster snail (like Bulimulid) - these had been eatern from the apex. Diamond python on log (with piece of monster snail - coincidence!) - photos. Beech forest - leeches even though dry - Went on to next part of Nat. Pk - walk then Beech forest - camped for night.
