Ken Wegner, Ron Suook[?] Sen and Ron Suook[?] Jun) Moore River near Guilderton , Barnes showed the group area where he found remains c. 1967. (within a deep cleft of rocks near Eagle Nest Rocks). Items Barnes' said he found "a pile of stones (now scattered) with a post in", and some pieces of glass and iron which could have come from G. D. [Given location, this is probably the Dutch wreck Vergulde Draek, in English "Gilt Dragon]. Barnes also showed Bannister a piece of pewter he found c. 4" and said there was a skeleton buried deeper within the cleft, the party dug in area and did not find skeleton only 3 pieces of possible bone, and a piece of wood on the surface. The party then moved to place where coins where located in 1931 [40 Dutch gold coins where found by a young boy in the sand dunes] and attempted a search using a metal detector to no success, before departing to Perth at 1610.
