"'On their own in WA' is an evocative audiovisual piece featuring a collection of oral histories, archive photographs and images taken by former child migrants at a visit to the former Clontarf Boys' Town on 5 May 2012. A haunting cello piece 'The Child, the Best Immigrant' weaves these stories and images together" -- Container.
19 former child migrants and their families were interviewed.
Produced by CAN WA to accompany a touring exhibition.
