Two tiny species of frogs - the white-bellied frog and orange-bellied frog - are known from just a handful of precariously poised populations in the States's south-west. Work is being done to safe-guard these populations and create new ones, so
that these species will fill the spring night air with their calls from isolated creek lines for many years to come.
