W.A. Museum and Art Gallery.—The director of the W.A. Museum and Art
Gallery, Mr. Bernard H. Woodward, announces the following additions to the
collections in the institution :—Two Tinamous, as types of a remarkable
order of South American birds, a pair of sand-grouse from Africa, received
in exchange from Mr. Gregory M. Matthews, the well-known Australian

additions have been made, while the spirit specimens have all been removed

view some fine specimens of Russian pottery, valued at considerably over
£200, which have been received from the Imperial Academy of Arts, St.
Petersburg, in exchange for a collection of Western Australian weapons, etc.
