Folkloric recording. Bob Masters was born in Perth, W.A. in 1951. At the age of 40 he was retrenched from his job as an electronic engineer with PMG and then Telecom. He decided to follow his passion for fishing and become a commercial fisherman in Broome,
where the fishing industry was still in its infancy. He explains fishing methods, resource management, the fishing industry.
