Originally produced for television, this video tells of how in Augusta, Western Australia, in 1988, nearly 100 killer whales beached themselves. More than 1000 people went to this remote beach to save them. This video tells of the rescue attempt which
saved 33 of these whales. Also looked at, are various theories as to why whales beach themselves.
