Abstract:
Letter identifies adult mole crickets, Cylindrodes kochii (Sauss.), root eaters found only in WA and commonly known as "gropers". Fumigation using carbon bisulphide is suggested to get rid of them. A funnel should be inserted 3-4 inches into ground, a
few drops of carbon bisulphide added and hole filled. This is done at intervals of a foot in all directions.
