Letter from Glauert to Mr. C. Sporn, Head Teacher, State School, Rottnest, seeking his help in collecting small burrowing frogs for the British Museum.
Glauert adds that he had previously collected these frogs on Rottnest with collectors from Harvard University.
Glauert is specifically looking for a greyish species growing to two inches and usually found away from water.
He informs Sporn that the best method of preservation is in formalin but methylated spirits "... would do at a pinch."
