Abstract:

Letter to The Curator, Perth Museum from J.B. O'Leary from Bardock, near Coolgardie, describing behaviour and appearance of unidentified snake.Reptile described as 9"-12" long; colouring varying from striped to dark green; fundament 4" from tail end;

scale on either side resembling fish fin, possibly jointed; legless; tail disconnects on striking; avoids people; no inclination to bite when irritSketch included.
