Glauert returns Mr. Rowland Benn's correspondence of 24 July in which he sought help in identifying birds he believed to be Ibises.
Glauert believes they are Straw-necked Ibises.
Although Benn was unable to see any straw-like feathers on the birds, Glauert explains that this feature can only be seen when very close to the birds.
