Glauert returns Hazel Jefferies' correspondence of 23 April 1936 with suggestions for activities her Bird Club at the Collie High School might undertake.
He recommends Leach's Australian Bird Book to familiarise students with bird species in their local area, leading to studying the habits of the individual species.
Glauert then recommends her students study the various aspects of nest building.
He notes that the June issue of the Rural magazine will include a section on nests that her students might find useful.
'Our Rural Magazine' was a monthly magazine produced between 1926 and 1946 by the WA Correspondence School of the Education Department of Western Australia for school children who were located in isolated circumstances.
