Notes:
Glauert notes that the worm mentioned by Snell is a Gorgian or Horsehair worm.
Glauert notes they are parasitic but harmless to humans.
He suggests, however, that Snell's children in future drink from a mug and not directly from a tap.
Glaurt says that he would be grateful to Snell if he could collect any small crabs, prawns and shrimps found in the water or at the water's edge.
If Snell also wishes to collect insects then Glauert will send him a killing bottle with instructions.
