Abstract:
Glauert is replying to a letter from Morison of 29 December 1916 in which he had made reference to an emu bone implement.

Glauert is unaware of this but discusses the appearance and use of a double headed axe by Aborigines in the southwest.

Glauert additionally refers to a work on ethno-botany called 'Useful Native Plants of Australia' by Joseph Maiden.

Glauert concludes by mentioning his army service in Sydney.
